Obituary for Ronald David Adams Sr.

Ronald David Adams Sr.
RONALD DAVID ADAMS I was the third of four boys, born to the late Gerald H. Adams and Carolyn G. Adams in Brooklyn NY.

As a youngster he was one of the original four members of the Scorpio Band where he played Rhythm Guitar along with his brother Eric and his cousins John and Robin Adams. As time went on, other family members joined such as his brother Michael, cousins Jay and Vincent and family friends Gary Smith and Tony Connelly. He attended Satellite Academy in Jamaica, Queens where he graduated at the age of eighteen. After graduating he began working for Umanoff and Parsons Bakery in Greenwich Village until he launched his career with the Human Resource Administration in August 29, 1994. He started as a Level 3 Eligibility Specialist before being promoted to AJOS I in June of 2001, where he supervised a group of JOS workers. In 1990 he married Giselle Santiago and this union produced their only son Ronald D. Adams II. Ronald had a special and precious relationship with his son, he loved him, corrected him and befriended him as only a father could do. He watched Little Ron sprout into a young adult in front of his very eyes and was as proud as a father possibly could be.

Ronald was a social butterfly who had an amazing love for life, he had a passion for music, enjoyed dancing and always loved hanging out with friends and family at social functions. His style was unmatched, always creating a buzz. From his coordinated suits, shorts, shirts, socks and shoes, to his caps and coats, he made a statement whenever and wherever he showed up.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017 Ronald went to be with his Lord and Savior. Left to mourn his passing are his loving son, Ronald D. Adams II, his mother Carolyn G. Adams, his brothers Michael, Eric and Steven, his sister Anika, his step-mother Terri, his sister-in-law Beatrice, his nieces Marquitta and Jessica, his nephew Najee, his cousins Julian, Jay, Tracy, John, Robin, Vincent, Wendy, and the Canton girls Lisa, Kim, Dana, Joy and Erika along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other friends and relatives.

May his soul Rest in Peace.
