Obituary for Belinda A. Hinzmann

Belinda Hinzmann was born in Germany on November 11, 1976. At an early age, she returned with her mother to Brooklyn, NY where she spent the majority of her childhood. She faced some tough times while growing up, but persevered against the obstacles. In the face of the challenges, Belinda earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the College of New Rochelle. She dedicated her life to her children and her goals to complete her educational endeavors. She went on to pursue a degree in nursing, but discovered her true niche along the way. That was to become an educator. Her target became set in making a difference in the lives of troubled children. She related to them on a personal level because of her own life experiences. She began as a substitute teacher and very recently accomplished her dream of becoming a full time teacher. Belinda was immediately recognized by the institutions that she had an affiliation with; and was considered the "go to" teacher who best dealt with those difficult and sensitive student situations.
Belinda loved spending quality time with her sons Noel and Matthew, who she cherished more than anything else. Belinda also enjoyed watching Law and Order and movies, being with friends and love ones as well as dancing, listening to music, and shopping. Belinda was focused on her children, career goals and believed that Mr. Right would be there when the time was right. Belinda was very loved by her peers, students, and all who she came in contact with. She was loyal, generous, protective, and always prepared to help those who she cared about to the best of her abilities. Belinda was full of life. She had one of those laughs that those who knew her will always remember. She will forever be a gem in our minds and in our hearts.
Belinda leaves to cherish in her memories, her two sons Noel and Matthew along with Matthew's father Sam Tanco who was a dear, supportive, lifelong friend to her. She also leaves to mourn, her brother Tad Morales. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family and all who knew her.
