Obituary for Anthony Akeem "Ant" Teil

Anthony Akeem "Ant" Teil
Anthony Akeem “Ant' Teil was born on February 27, 1993 at St. Mary's Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He was the youngest child of Anthony and Catherine Teil. Anthony gained his wings on February 26, 2018.

Anthony grew up in Queens, NY where he attended Robert F. Kennedy High School located in Flushing, NY. Anthony ended up graduating from Penn Foster High School on his own accord. After completing high school Anthony attended DeVry College of NY to figure out where he would apply his genius in life. After taking a few classes at DeVry, Anthony attended Bronx Community College where he was studying to be an automotive mechanic for BMW.

Anthony was a smart student and he was trying to find his way in life. After college, he worked various full time jobs because he wanted cash in his pockets. He enjoyed working at JFK Airport, but he always told us that job was not his career.

Anthony enjoyed hanging out with his “buddies”. He also had a sense of humor that would make the whole room laugh. The love Ant had for his family was immeasurable! The love he had for his buddies was...let's just say they were all like brothers! The love Ant had for his neighbors, and anyone who Anthony let into his heart... was priceless!

Anthony could accomplish anything he put his mind too. He was an amazing son, full of hope and promise. One of the things that Ant realized was that there wasn't a single girl he couldn't catch with his charming smile and sense of humor. Ant was fascinated with life and he had big dreams of being super successful someday and he was on his way to achieving all his goals and dreams in life.

Anthony was surrounded by love. He leaves to cherish his memory; his Mother, Catherine Teil; Father, Anthony Teil Sr; Sister, Teona Smith; brother-in-law, Adrian Smith; Grandmothers, Jean Turner & Stella Simmons; Aunts, Donna Turner & Andrena Ingram; Uncles, Tracey Simmons; Eric Johnson & Duane Turner. Along with a host of friends and co-workers.
