Gloria Burrows-Sealy, the third daughter of James Alex McRae and Marion Davis was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 12, 1949, where she spent her early childhood years living with her parents and her 10 sibling. She attend and graduated from Prospect High School and soon after started working as an Administrative Assistant for the NYPD in the city, where she gave 20 years of service. In 1971, she met Casper Sealy III and became a family.

Gloria had a strong assertive character, was opinionated and would make her feelings known to the world using very colorful language with the drop of a hat. She was family oriented and didn’t bother to have too many friends, but she cared deeply for the ones she had and her loved ones.

She was a very talented cook, and truly enjoyed family gatherings where she could show-case her widely selected menu of delicious dishes such as: baked and BBQ chicken, turkey wings and macaroni and cheese, banana pudding and her “Everything Cake”. All exquisitely seasoned cooked and baked to perfection.

Gloria loved going to vacation resorts, cruising and traveling. She enjoyed learning and experiences new cultures. Some of the countries visited in her travels included: Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Martinique, St. Thomas and the Bahamas, Dominica, St. Kitts, Nassau and Puerto Rico.

Gloria made her transition of Friday, June 15, 2018. She is survived by her husband Casper W. Sealy III and her two sons: Alexander Van Burrows and Amyr Casper Sealy, grandchildren Vanna and Akio and her extended grandchildren and family.

She will be greatly missed!!!!!!!!!!
