Our God has left a special promise to us in his word the Bible: The Bible Book of Revelations, Chapter 21: verses 3 and 4, God promises us that Death will be no more, neither will pain or outcry be anymore, the former things have passed away.
This is a promise from God that we all look forward to seeing. We will see our deceased loved ones once again. Let's all hold on to Gods Word.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how hard losing a loved one can be. Prayer is a major healer because God is close to those who are in pain at heart. He hears the prayers of those who cry for help. God hates death just as much as we do and that is why he plans to do something about it in the near future. 1 Corinthians 15:26 reads: "And the last, enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God will also resurrect our dead loved ones. Acts 24:15 reads: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
